libdata-float-perl software package provides Perl module encapsulating the floating point data type, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libdata-float-perl
libdata-float-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libdata-float-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libdata-float-perl *
You will get with libdata-float-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
